We are thrilled to announce that we have joined forces with one of Italy’s best artisan manufacturers to resurrect one of the finest door hardware designs from the Art Deco era. Proving that beautiful objects deserve to be on show, the 1930s Collection has returned to bring distinction once again to the finest interior environments.
Pittella has been producing and importing high-quality architectural door fittings and bathroom accessories since the 1970s. In addition to holding our own team of outstanding in-house designers, we also works with a select group of international design partners to form our collection of the finest bathroom components and architectural door fittings.
Just as a fine work of art may become available as limited edition prints, the beautiful 1930s Collection of door hardware is available again to the delight discerning design lovers.
The original design was produced in the Italian city of Como in the early 1930’s and was submitted to the Italian Design Registration Centre in Rome. When our Italian partner manufacturer recently bought the rights to recommence production of this beautiful design and we didn’t hesitate in supporting them by introducing it as one of the registered designs in Pittella’s Classical Collection.
The 1930’s Collection features the distinctive horizontal lines that characterise early Art Deco designs. The collection includes a lever handle, a door pull and joinery handles. Each element of the collection is designed to work in harmony and the results are truly stunning when they are featured together.
Each design in the 1930s Collection is available in polished chrome, polished nickel or our striking black opaque finish which has a highly durable varnish to prevent chipping.
The 1930s Collection brings the golden era of design back to the finest contemporary interiors of today.
